Mrs. Chelsea Moore is thrilled to serve as Pacific Sky’s principal. Mrs. Moore brings with her a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for empowering students. Mrs. Moore has been an integral part of the DMUSD family since 2014, serving in various roles such as teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Her dedication to fostering a positive learning environment, where students can discover their strengths and find purpose, is at the heart of her educational mission.

 

Mrs. Moore is known for her expertise in curriculum and instruction, which allows her to collaborate around innovative and engaging learning opportunities for our students. Her warm and compassionate approach resonates with children, parents, and staff, nurturing strong relationships within the school community. It is important to her that students form a deep and positive relationship with learning, leading to a lifetime of happy memories.

 

Having grown up in San Diego, Mrs. Moore's roots run deep within our vibrant city. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University and a Master of Arts in Education. Her educational journey has spanned fifteen fruitful years in both the Poway Unified School District and the Del Mar Union School District before stepping into administration. Mrs. Moore's commitment to professional growth led her to earn an administrative credential through the esteemed San Diego County Office of Education Leadership program.

 

Outside the school walls, Mrs. Moore finds joy in spending time with her family. Her husband, Stephen, is actively involved with a local non-profit, and together, they share the joys of parenthood with their daughter, Addie, and their lovable puppy named Ollie. The Moore family loves to explore the beauty of our coastal city and passionately supports their local sports teams.
